Missguided Winter Wishlist
from left to right
Justine Khaki Crepe Snake Cut Out Bodycon Dress £24.99
Snake Print Monochrome Boyfriend Shirt £24.99
Verity Crepe Scallop Dress in Burgundy £24.99
Brenna Mid Sleeve Cobalt Blue Peplum Top £12.99
Wallace Double Layer Monochrome Dogtooth Print Playsuit £24.99
Bae Contrast Floral Print Crop Top £17.99

The perks of now having a permanent part-time job with a reliable income every month is the opportunity to actually buy the clothes I want instead of just lusting over them. This realisation has come all too apparent, as in the last couple of days I've managed to spend around £200 in Missguided, Urban Outfitters and Topshop. However you know how us girls are like, always wanting more! Missguided at the moment is on point and with perfect pieces to make yourself stand out during the approaching party season. The top 2 dresses and the shirt have to be my favourite out of them all, even though I have an order on its way, these will definitely be next up on my wish list to purchase!

Florida Haul

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll see that I recently spent 2 weeks in Florida to celebrate the end of GCSEs (good riddance!). I normally travel to Florida in February so the weather was very different to what I'm used to, averaging 35 degrees everyday! I'm not sure if I would recommend visiting the Sunshine State in the summer months, however the shopping as always was brilliant and here's some of the purchases I made while I was there.

Medium Sutton Satchel - Michael Kors

My dad pointed out this bag in the Michael Kors shop in The Mall at Millenia and it was love at first sight. It's probably the largest purchase I've ever made at $350 but so so worth it and I can tell this is going to be a staple accessory in my wardrobe for years to come!

Heidi Klum for New Balance 420 Trainers - Finish Line at Macy's

From the moment my eyes glanced upon these shoes on the shop display, it was love at first sight. I've been relatively on the fence whether I liked New Balance shoes or not but these shoes sealed the deal. I just love how unique these shoes are and you question whether they're New Balance or not. Plus they're black and will go with pretty much anything!

Assorted Hoodies - Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch

You can't go to America and not buy any insanely cheap Hollister and A&F hoodies while you're there. I'm pretty sure these hoodies all worked out to be about £15 each, a far cry from the £60 price tag here in the UK! They're super soft, super comfy and just super hoodies in general!

Assorted Makeup - Walgreens and CVS

I held back on makeup purchases this time as I bought so much last time however I got some huge makeup bargains in Walgreens where loads of the makeup was in clearance for $1.99 each! Also the Wet n Wild Balm Stain was $2.99 and I had a $2 coupon, bargain of the century!

Reece's Cups Oreos, Ice Breakers Duos - Walmart
Sour Patch Kids Gum - Target

Here's just a couple of the food items I purchased over the last two weeks. Most of the foods I bought, I gave to my friend Emily for her belated birthday present but I managed to sneak a few for myself, including many boxes of Pop Tarts which are at my house in England. So excited to try the Sour Patch Kids gum!!!

Tomodachi Life for Nintendo 3DS XL Review

Following on from my previous series of Nintendo reviews, when I was offered the chance to review the new game Tomodachi Life, I couldn't say no. It's described as a reality TV show in the form of a game, and that's exactly what it is! You can create Miis to live on your island, and they can get up to all sorts of things!

Your islanders will live in an apartment block like this, and you can know when your Mii wants you to interact with them when there are icons like these showing up at their windows. It can be anything from them being hungry or asking your advice on a new friendship/relationship.

Your home screens will look something like this, you can see the game is played in real time and is just like a real-life reality TV show! As you create new Miis, new shops and attractions will become available, opening up new opportunities for your characters such as part time jobs and chilling at the beach.

Your characters will look like this, they'll show their likes and dislikes at the top screen along with their hunger and best friends. I had no idea who to make into Miis so I decided a Mii based on Ryan Reynolds would be a good idea (anyone who's seen The Proposal can't help but fall in love with him).

You can buy your Miis hats and clothes which they will either like or dislike. That strawberry hat is the cutest thing I've ever seen!

When something new happens on your island, a newsflash will pop up featuring some of your own Miis as TV hosts!

One of the funniest things I've discovered you can do is draw on Miis' faces while they're sleeping! Too bad it all rubs off once you click the back button!

When you leave your Miis to their own devices, they'll end up doing all sorts of things such as playing with pets and/or the handy Wii U that you can give to them as a gift (its not a Nintendo game for nothing!).

Despite having work and exams, this has been a great game to play when you just want a bit of down time, and I'll definitely take it with me to keep me entertained on the plane to Florida. Keep your eyes peeled for further Tomodachi Life reviews!

Summer's Coming!

Shirt - Bealls Florida / Jeans - Topshop / Watch - Michael Kors via Amazon / Sandals - Office @ House of Fraser*

With summer coming (for you lucky people in England the sun has already made an appearance, not in rainy Northern Ireland however), it's time to start getting our summer wardrobes out and injecting a bit of sunshine into our outfits. Albeit, I've ended up wearing black and white in this outfit, the dash of colour from these gorgeous sandals is popping the required amount of sunshine to transition from rain to shine. These sandals at only £25 is a perfect way to kick start your holiday wardrobe. They're definitely going to be on my feet everyday when I jet off to Florida after exams! Also here's my beloved Michael Kors watch's first appearance on the blog. Definitely one of the best investments I've made, and its definitely worth getting it from Amazon because the savings are amazing and they're 100% genuine!

Cath Kidston iPhone Case Review

When I was given the chance to review this Cath Kidston phone case for my iPhone 5s, I jumped at the chance! Cath Kidston phone cases are one of my favourites for jazzing up my phone and its a great addition to my collection! I'm a great lover of phone cases, having a pile of them sitting in my room. However Cath Kidston cases hold a special place in my heart. They're perfect for unleashing the girly girl from within while at the same time, protecting your phone (a.k.a your life source if you're as addicted as me!).

The case gives good protection to the phone, ensuring you don't get any scratches from everyday wear and tear. My previous cases have received considerable use and the pattern has worn off slightly in the top corner but its pretty impressive seeing as though I take my phone everywhere. I've also dropped my phone with the pink case on so it has a few cracks but nothing stopping me from using it. Plus my phone wasn't damaged at all!

I'd definitely recommend a Cath Kidston phone case if you're interested in investing. At £24.95, the price is quite steep however they're definitely worth it, and the compliments you'll get will brighten up your day!

Florida Clothes Haul

America is the place to shop, and I definitely shopped til I dropped! Admittedly I probably bought more makeup than clothes while I was out there as I didn't get chance to go to a Forever 21 or anything like that. However I did get some amazing bargains! Factor in the exchange rate and it just gets even better! Hope you enjoy this little haul, a makeup haul post will be posted soon!

 Nike Roshe Run - Footlocker

This was definitely by far my favourite purchase of the whole trip. I've been eyeing the Nike Roshes for ages and thought I'd bite the bullet and finally buy some in Florida. They were only $70 in America instead of £70 so it worked out at around £45! I originally wanted a black pair however my dad managed to convince me to get this dark blue colour (the photo makes it look black but I promise they're not!) They were such a good bargain I even got my friend Bekah a pink pair! I've only worn them a few times but they're the comfiest shoes I've ever owned. I'm going to wear these everyday for the rest of my life, no exaggeration.

SO Red Velvet Flats - Kohl's

I was shopping in Kohl's when I came across these shoes for only $8, thats literally like £5! I definitely couldn't let type of bargain slip away. On top of that I had a $10 off coupon and 30% off!

 Champion Workout Shorts - Bealls

I was flicking through the sales racks in Bealls when I came across these workout shorts and thought they'd be cute for doing some exercise (if I ever do...) and they were only about $10 so a total bargain!

 Hang Ten T-Shirt - Kohl's

I picked up this top from the clearance rails in Kohl's for only about $9 plus the discounts I mentioned above. Bargain!

 Pink Vest Top - Hollister

Hollister in America is so unbelievably cheap, completely different to how much it is in the UK! I was looking through the store and they had a 60% off clearance event so I ended up getting this top for $4! No way would you find a top in Hollister that cheap over here!

 Whatever Top - Ross

I saw this top while searching through Ross and thought it was so sassy, totally me!

 Embellished Jumper - Hollister

This was another bargain I picked up in Hollister for only $15. Jumpers are a staple in my wardrobe and I love to wear them with jeans and trainers for a simple everyday look. This is definitely a great pick to add to my wardrobe!

Marc by Marc Jacobs iPad Case - T K Maxx

The thing I love about T J Maxx is that you can find Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs etc dotted around the place at affordable prices. No way would you find a MK watch in your local T K Maxx! This iPad case was only $30! I was going to get a pink case for my MacBook but they didn't have a size that would fit mine.

Burgers and Shopping

Top - Topshop / Skirt - Primark / Jacket - Persunmall* / Sandals - Singapore

I went to Paddock Mall in Ocala yesterday on the search for some Nike Roshes for me and my friend Bekah. After long last I finally found them and got myself a dark blue pair and Bekah a bright pink pair. They're beautiful and so so comfy. Plus they're way cheaper over here! I picked up the Marc Jacobs iPad case in T J Maxx would you believe! They also had Michael Kors watches and purses too!

On the way home from Ocala we stopped off at Five Guys for a burger and fries. I got the little hamburger with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and BBQ sauce! We also got 2 large fries however when my dad picked up our order the lady informed him that 1 large fries serves 5 people... And she wasn't wrong! The portion sizes are massive in Five Guys! We could only eat 1 portion between the 4 of us!

Sunbathing and Froyo

Top - Topshop / Shorts - Pull & Bear / Sandals - Singapore / Sunglasses - H&M

Today was like the other days, with sunbathing and food being main factors. It was sooo hot today, about 30°! It shows as I've gone and got myself a tan line on my face, not cool.

I made a stop at Starbucks and had a refreshing Trenta Valencia Orange Refresher. Exactly what I needed in that weather! Trenta is so massive, it'd be amazing if we had that size in the UK!

I went to Panda Express and had my usual of fried rice, orange chicken and mushroom chicken. Panda is one of my favourite American restaurants and I go every year without fail!

Lastly I finished the day off with a trip to Peachwave for some self serve froyo. I had vanilla, fudge brownie and salted caramel froyo topped with sour worms, mango boba, strawberry boba, strawberries, mangoes, chocolate chips and hot fudge sauce. Mmmmm!

Pancakes and Pool Day

Top - Topshop / Shorts - Pull & Bear / Shoes - Vans @ Schuh / Sunglasses - H&M

Florida day 2 has been amazing like imagined, except for a few things. Firstly I headed to IHOP for breakfast. I got sent an email voucher from IHOP giving me a free Rooty Tooty Fresh n Fruity so that's exactly what I had! (Pancakes with strawberries and cream, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and hash browns incase you were wondering!) It was delicious obviously and their pancakes do not disappoint!

Next I went to Belk trying to buy a new bottle of Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation but they didn't have my shade. Super annoying but apparently they're getting a delivery tomorrow or Friday so I can hopefully get it then. Then I spotted the most beautiful Michael Kors purse for $80 but my 20% off coupon excluded pretty much anything worth buying in the store so I'm going to have to wait until Friday so I can use my other coupon. If the purse isn't there I'll cry.

After that we made our daily stop to the pool for a lil tanning sesh. It was pure paradise.

Tonight I'm going to go down to Kohl's and Target and shop til I drop!
