Oscars 2012 Red Carpet Coverage.

The biggest night in the showbiz calendar, the Oscars, took place last night at the Hollywood & Highland Centre Theatre. The event saw the likes of Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz in attendance, to name a few!

Here are my favourite dresses of the night:

Angelina Jolie wore a black velvet Atelier Versace gown, with a thigh-high slit which saw the sight of one of Angelina's legs which has been subject to criticism on Twitter recently. I personally love the contrast between the dark coloured dress and her pale skin tone!

Penelope Cruz strutted down the red carpet in a "stormy blue" Giorgio Armani gown, which cinched in all the right places, and made her look SO elegant.

Giuliana Rancic looked stunning in her Tony Ward white diamond embellished gown. I love her recent dress choices!

Louise Roe proved her fashionista status in this beautiful retro glam blush gabardine peplum gown by L.A label Black Halo.

I love the colour of Emma Stone's cherry red Giambattista Valli gown. I also love the contrast of Emma's pale skin tone against the cherry red colour of the dress.

Gwyneth Paltrow rocked this simple Tom Ford cream column gown with a matching cape which made her look extremely elegant and regal!

Marni for H&M Collection.

Marni is the next designer brand in line to create a best-selling collection for high street giant H&M.

Marni's Italian founder Consuelo Castiglioni has designed a spring collection to go on sale in the high street chain's 260 stores worldwide along with their online store from March 8th.

Consuelo Castiglioni said when asked about the collection, "I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements."

H&M's Margareta van der Dosch said, "We all love the collection here at H&M and we believe that our customers will too. Marni has such a modern touch with everything they do, mixing prints and accessories in a playful but chic way. It's fantastic to see how Consuelo Castiglioni coordinates her designs, matching new combinations of print and colour, with such incredible craftsmanship behind every piece. The collection will arrive in stores at just the perfect time, as a lovely statement for spring."

BRITs 2012 Red Carpet Looks.

The biggest celebration of British musical talent, The BRIT Awards took place last night live from The O2 Arena in London with the likes of Jessie J, Adele and Rihanna in attendance. Of course with an awards ceremony, comes the red carpet which is full of the legendary British style.

Here's some looks from last night:

Rihanna looked head-to-toe glamorous in a metallic maxi dress with a draping neckline and thigh-high slit. She also made the look even more sexy (if that's even possible) but adding some matching heels and long leather gloves.

Nicole Scherzinger looked pretty and ready for summer in this pastel yellow floor length strapless dress. I love the added embellishments on the torso, totally makes the dress!

Lana Del Ray decided to blend into the red carpet in this glamorous floor-length gown. Stunning or what?

The legendary Adele rocks yet another black dress to an awards ceremony, but doesn't she look great?!

Jessie J opted for this racy red sheer dress which just covers her up with the lace detailing. I'm not sure if I like it but I love Jessie J so I've got to love it.

Anna Calvi stands out from the crowd and wears this stunning tuxedo outfit. I LOVE!

Little Mix look cute and colourful in their individual fun and quirky outfits, I love seeing what they wear!

Laura Whitmore adds her rocky sense of style to the red carpet with this cut-out bodycon dress. Absolutely love the dress!

Caroline Flack also rocks a tuxedo-like outfit, and looks pretty darn hot if I do say so myself.

LFW AW12 Street Style.

There's one thing that is almost as good as the shows, THE STREET STYLE! I absolutely love looking through pictures of what the fashion followers are watching as they are the true fashionistas! From style bloggers to designers, everyone has a different take on fashion and I love watching it all combine.

Here's some of my favourite street style looks:

Lindsay: "All I knew this morning that I wanted to wear this new black lace top from Forever 21! I'm loving all the textures for AW12."
Laura: "You will always find me in my trusty leather jacket! I'm really inspired by all the SS12 Aztec prints at the moment."
Beth Buxton: "Can't wait to see what Marios Schwab is doing this season."
Tracey Cheng: "I just wear what I like, acne & McQueen shows will be the best I think."
Mairi Campbell: "I love fashion week because it's a chance to catch up with other friends who love fashion, and there is such a great vibe."
Claudia Gilchrist :  "Going for a glam grunge look today, loving my split side skirt despite the weather!"

LFW AW12 - Mulberry and Topshop Unique

London Fashion Week continued for the 3rd day today in the capital and saw some amazing shows from Mulberry and Topshop Unique. Mulberry and Topshop are two of my favourite brands and I'm so glad they pulled off amazing shows, like always!

Mulberry featured alot of mustard colours, fur and leather along with some busy prints and lace. I especially love these two outfits pictured above. Mulberry ensured that they kept their guests warm in the English weather by supplying them with lovely furry seats. And sitting their bums on the furry seats at the front row were Lana Del Rey, Pixie Lott and Olivia Palermo to name a few.

The Topshop Unique show didn't fail to impress like always with lots of gold, metallics and loose tailoring. Alexa Chung, Poppy Delevingne, Anna Wintour and Olivia Palermo was a few of the big fashion names spotted on the front row of the show which took place beside the Thames. The collection was very sensible and sophisticated which is different from the craziness and out-there vibes from their previous seasons.

LFW AW12 Day 1 and 2 Round-Up.

London Fashion Week kicked off yesterday with a bang including some great shows from Felder Felder, PPQ and Emilia Wickstead to name a few.

Today saw the likes of Jasper Conran, House of Holland and John Rocha take to the catwalk to showcase their AW12 collections.

Here's the lowdown of day 1 and 2 of LFW AW12:

Day 1

Antoni & Alison saw a lot of losely fitted mini dresses sporting lots of bright colours and abstract prints. There was also the appearance of a few maxi dresses like the one pictured above. I love the mix between the black and white tuxedo-like top mixed with the gold sequin maxi skirt.

Caroline Charles showcased lots of fur, leopard print, houndstooth, plaid and sophisticated prints. The collection was relatively dark in colours, with the few objections of a orange dress velvet dress teamed with an orange jacket, tights and shoes.

The Orla Kiely show was less of a traditional catwalk but more of a staged party with a 1940's theme. The 'guests' were dressed in prom dresses with gold collars, sparsely printed blouses with red hotpants and dresses with black and white stripes.

Lots of plaid was featured in the Corrie Nielson show. The plaid was styled in different ways, from red plaid skirts to black plaid shirts with sheer material detailings on the collar. There were also lots of big black dresses with lots of volume.

Fyodor Golan had a lot of black leather, metallic greens, leather boots,  fur, statement necklaces, flowy skirts, white sparkles and metal detailing in their AW12 collection. There was also a Gaga-esque outfit (pictured above) with a crown covered over with sheer white material.

The Bora Aksu show mainly consisted of floral patterns, light pink and grey pastel colours (with the exception of a few bright colours towards the end) and black suede lace up heels. I love the pastel colours!

There were lots of leather gloves, beige colours, countryside landscape prints, jumpsuits, girly pleats and black sparkles along with red and light pink. I particularly love the last part of the show with all the black sparkly dresses, some of which I can see being worn on the red carpet by A-list stars.

The Maria Grachvogel show saw lots of knee length leather boots, golds, loose cuts, fire prints, royal blues and reds.

Zoe Jordan saw the likes of ankle boots, girly leather, mahogany shades,  opaque tights, whites, oranges and dark peach colours. I especially love the mini dresses like the one in the picture above. I'd love to get my hands on a few!

Felder Felder showcased studded bodices, dark blues, modest sequins, busy prints and peep toe ankle boots. I love how they used the same print and styled it in different ways, for example: a mini dress like in the picture above, flowy top with clashing leggings and a print top with a black maxi skirt.

The Jean-Pierre Braganza show sported lots of purple shades, paisley prints, fur coats, fitted dresses, metallic embellishments, knitwear and shiny materials. I LOVE the outfit in the picture above! The oversized shirt goes with the patterned leggings perfectly!

The models walked with bicycles at the PPQ show. A lot of high-cut bodysuits, opaque tights, monochrome outfits, big scarves, statement coats and pretty dresses also made an appearance on the catwalk. Some of the dresses were stunning, and I love the bicycles they walked with, very original!

The Basso and Brooke show was packed full of clashing prints which made it one of the most eye-catching and interesting shows of the day. It was a particularly manly collection with lots of trousers and long jackets.

The last show of the day was Jena.Theo which was filled with denim of all colours. I love how casual the collection was which is relatable to near enough everyone.

Day 2

Daks started off day 2 of LFW with a mix of dark colours and smart tailoring. There were a mix of trousers and jackets, jumpsuits and dresses which were all styled impeccably. Checks, beiges and tweed also featured on the catwalk in additional to a few autumnal hues.

Clements Ribeiro showed hot pink accents in everything from coats to midis, along with large check and detailed floral prints. The models also sported lots of fuschia make-up as well.

The Jasper Conran show was extremely glamorous featuring lots of metallic leather and mongolian fur jumpers, along with gold glitter and tailor-fitted dresses.

The J. JS Lee catwalk was full of white colours, along with a few blacks  and graphite colours. The models also wore ankle boots which means we can get away with sensible footwear come autumn-winter.

Daughter of John, Simone Rocha made her mark on LFW by showcasing a collection of lace, black and metallic creations, with the addition of incredible tailoring, luxurious fabrics and loose androgynous shapes.

Henry Holland did what he does best by injecting a bit of colour into LFW in the House of Holland show. The collection was full of colourful zigzags, oversized houndstooth checks and a colourful palette of reds, pinks, blues and greens.

The John Rocha show was full of big jackets and dresses along with bodycon maxis and fur detailing. I also LOVE the models' hair!

The Christopher Raeburn show was one of the warmest shows this week. Full of puffy coats and shoes, we are definitely not going to be cold come the winter time.
